INTERACTIVE SOUND WORKSHOP WITH BINT MBAREH (2024)

This interactive workshop with Palestinian sound artist Bint Mbareh - بنت مبارح centres on the idea of 'the echo' – sounds that are no longer present, and only exist in the bodies of those who hear them and reproduce them.

The ‘echo’ involves ideas of memory, of thinking and being together collectively, and of what it means to make and listen to sound.

These ideas are explored in an interactive way through a series of exercises and group activities, ending with a guided listening session with the artist.
