« L'horizon partagé : perspectives méditerranéennes sur les questions artistiques »
Marquée par une diversité culturelle évidente, la région méditerranéenne, située au carrefour de trois continents, apparaît comme un espace unique où différentes civilisations se sont rencontrées et confrontées depuis des millénaires... Cette discussion vise à aborder la question des échanges Nord-Sud, ainsi que l'importance des échanges Sud-Sud, qui sont de plus en plus significatifs et, franchement, cruciaux pour notre 21e siècle, abandonnant les grands récits traditionnellement dominés par les perspectives occidentales. « Horizons Méditerranéens » souhaite discuter de la manière dont les artistes de la Méditerranée peuvent proposer des approches alternatives qui contribuent à une meilleure compréhension mutuelle entre les différentes cultures de cette région riche et complexe.

”الأفق المشترك: وجهات نظر متوسطية حول المسائل الفنية“
تتميز منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط، التي تقع على مفترق ثلاث قارات، بتنوع ثقافي واضح. وتبدو هذه المنطقة مساحة فريدة من نوعها حيث التقت الحضارات المختلفة وتواجهت فيما بينها منذ آلاف السنين... تهدف هذه المناقشة إلى معالجة مسألة التبادلات بين الشمال والجنوب، وأهمية التبادلات بين الجنوب والجنوب، التي تزداد أهميتها وبصراحة تامة في القرن الحادي والعشرين، متخلية عن الروايات الكبرى التي تهيمن عليها تقليدياً المنظورات الغربية. يرغب ”آفاق متوسطية“ في مناقشة الطريقة التي يمكن للفنانين في منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط أن يقدموا بها مقاربات بديلة تساهم في تحسين التفاهم المتبادل بين الثقافات المختلفة في هذه المنطقة الغنية والمعقدة.

“The shared horizon: Mediterranean perspectives on artistic questions”
Marked by an obvious cultural diversity, the Mediterranean region, which is located at the crossroads of three continents, appears to be a unique space where different civilizations have met and confronted each other for millennia…This discussion aims to address the issue of North-South exchanges, and the importance of South-South exchanges, which are increasingly significant and, quite frankly, crucial for our 21st century, abandoning the grand narratives traditionally dominated by Western perspectives. “Mediterranean Horizons” wishes to discuss the way in which artists in the Mediterranean can offer alternative approaches that contribute to better mutual understanding between the different cultures of this rich and complex region.
